Has anyone else checked into this? One of my clients wants me to create a Sitemaps file to submit to google. I said "sure, no prob" figuring it was a simple matter of pointing Google to the URL, and letting it make a sitemap. WRONG. There is a 10-million word process to do this - absolutely insane. It requires Python (whatever that is) to be installed on the server, then a million steps need to be taken, a special .xml file then is created, and on and on....I guess before I tell the guy to forget it, has anyone done this yet? Do we even have Python on the servers at Myriad?

here is the link to the page in case anyone cares:

thanks

thanks for the quick reply. Google says it needs version 2.2, so I'll assume your Python is current.

Now I have to read the 9-page instructions.

Hi,

We currently run the required version of Python for Sitemaps:

# python -V
Python 2.2.3
