Hello. I was using Atomz free search to put a "search" box on my sites, and of course, it would just search the site, and it was nice...Atomz now has ads at the top of each page - for my clients' competitors!!

So, I am now looking for a way to put a simple "search this site" feature on my sites, without ads, and for free preferrably.

Someone on another forum mentioned this type of thing sometimes being included with a Hosting account...does anyone know if Myriad has this type of thing builtin?

Hi,

Myriad Network does not currently offer anything like that at this time. I would recommend reviewing the links on this website, which looks like it was updated as recently as yesterday: http://www.searchtools.com/tools/tools.html

I have spotted several free solutions by going through those links.

hmm. Every "free" one I found is only free with advertising...not what I want. My last host, using identical Control Panel as Myriad has something called Entropy Search as a script pre-installed. It does exactly what I need, offers a basic search command for just a site. Maybe it's something Myriad can look into including? It would be really handy.

Hi,

We have Entropy Search already loaded. It can be accessed by going to "CGI Center" from within cPanel.
