Setting up subdomains?

I'm trying to setup some subdomains but I want to make them resolve to a different IP from the main domain. So something like server1.example.com would resolve to 10.10.10.1 and server2.example.com would resolve to 50.50.50.1.

I've got the Plesk control panel and I've looked around. As far as i can tell, its subdomain creation feature will only allow you to host the content on the same server and doesn't allow you to specify an IP for the subdomain to be created.

Any ideas? :confused:

Hi,

I believe that what you are trying to do in Plesk requires that you actually create a new domain for the subdomain. Put another way, to create the subdomain (which will have an IP address different than that of the main domain), create a completely new domain for it.
