This appears related to version 4.4.1 of PHP which was installed over the weekend. We are looking to move to 4.4.2 shortly.

Thanks for your patience.

This is what happened in a nutshell. We recomplied php over the weekend to build in support for a module a couple customers had requested. We did _not_ intend to upgrade the version of php. Cpanel, being ever so helpful decided that it would ignore the version of php we selected (I think we were running 4.3.10) and force upgraded us to 4.4.1.

According to documentation on the PHP site we've come to the conclusion that 4.4.1 has some serious issues with regards to memory leaks which has resulted in a couple outages on web6.

So, just a bit ago, we upgraded to php 4.4.2 which according to the changelog available at http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-4.php#4.4.2 tells us the memory leak, and a couple other important bug fixes have been incorporated into 4.4.2.

That all being said I believe 4.4.2 will correct the issues we've had the last couple of days.

Thanks for your patience while we've been researching this issue.
