Myriad Network came to life in April of 2004 as a wholly owned subsidiary of SecurityMinded Technologies LLC. SecurityMinded started in December of 2000 but the site and brand never brought us the web hosting customers we were looking to achieve. We felt the existing site (www.securityminded.net (http://www.securityminded.net/)) was far too busy, with both our IT consulting work and web hosting all together.
Moving forward to December of 2003 we hired a company in California to help us design and position a new brand - Myriad Network with a new look and feel. We spent the better part of 4 months designing the new site you see today (www.myriadnetwork.com (http://www.myriadnetwork.com/)).
In summary, Myriad Network is a wholly owned subsidiary of SecurityMinded Technologies LLC. The same people who started SecurityMinded over 5 years ago, are still at the helm today, as are most of the same core group of employees. We still do quite a bit of consulting through SecurityMinded, but all the hosting is now through the Myriad Network brand.
Answers to questions typically asked by potential customers:
- We have over 5 years of business experience and are cash flow positive. We pay cash for all of our equipment (servers, switches etc.)
- We use 2 data center locations - the primary being 15 minutes from our office in Northern Virginia, the second in St. Louis which typically handles our backup SMTP and secondary DNS accounts.
- We gain most of our customers through existing customer referrals.
- We are quite happy with our steady growth rate.
- We are not dependent on gaining new customers to stay in business.
