Just a quick thought / suggestion...

How about introducing polls here in the forums as a means to pick your (current or future) customers' brains?

That's a good idea. What type of polls did you have in mind?

Well, I can imagine "oodles" of uses, but mostly I think it would be a good tool to use whenever you are asking yourself: "I wonder if our customers might have a need for that?" or "I wonder if this is more important than that for our customers" and other questions along those lines.

You could also use it in conjunction with future contests, e.g. give people a chance to submit domains for peer review in a "beauty contest" and then use a poll to let everybody here on the forums vote and pick the winner.

I bet you can came up with plenty more uses for polls.

I simply noticed that your vBulletin forum software does not provide the "polls" option for posts (or maybe it's just disabled in the setup options), whereas phpBB does.
