web8 customers,

We will be upgrading MySQL on web8 some time tomorrow - Saturday, December 2nd - from 4.0.27 to 4.1.x (the exact new version of 4.1.x is unknown, but will likely be 4.1.21).

All,

This upgrade has been pushed back a few days. We're not exactly sure when this will be taking place, but are fully planning to have this done within the next week, and will update this thread accordingly. We weren't too keen about making a change with only 24 hours notice, and this will give everyone an extra few days to make any necessary preparations, which is what we prefer.

The MySQL upgrade will be taking place this evening at 11:59PM EDT.

MySQL will be upgraded shortly.

MySQL has been upgraded. Apache and PHP are recompiling now. During this time you may experience some brief and intermittent connectivity issues when attempting to reach your websites. I will update this thread when the maintenance has been completed. Thanks.
