Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the March 2007 contest! Webhosting and reseller customers only are eligible to participate in this month's contest.

Forum user sebax has requested this month's contest pertain to the Oscars (www.oscar.com). It's time to pit your knowledge of the Oscars against his. Put your hands on your buzzers, because whoever answers this question correctly first wins! Ready? Here it is:

Q. Where is the serial number on the Oscar statuette located?

Good guess brice, but the Contest and Promotions Committee has ruled that the answer is not specific enough, sorry!

According to the Legacy (http://www.oscar.com/legacy/?pn=statuette&page=2) section of the Oscars' website:


Prior to 1949, the statuettes were not numbered. Since that year, starting with a somewhat arbitrary number 501, each Oscar statuette has worn his serial number behind his heels.
