Is there a way to have PHP4 (.php4) and PHP5 (.php) run on the same box for all virtual websites?
If not is there a way to allow reseller -> new client accounts with the option of PHP5 or PHP4?

Unfortunately, neither of these are possible. I've read instances where people have been able to do this, however, they all use Apache2. cPanel has been using Apache 1 since its creation, so it's currently not possible.

It is possible to an extent. You can run PHP 4 as mod_php4 and PHP 5 as suphp or phpsuexec, or run both as phpsuexec.
There are some patches floating around that can run PHP 4 as well as 5 (simultaneously) as mod_php, however this is where it starts to get a bit more complex.
Another option is to run either PHP as fastcgi, and the other as mod_php, thus offering similar performance between the two.
I'm actually doing this on our VPS w/ MyriadNetwork. :)

How is this possible with the reseller accounts? More and more other hosting resellers are providing both php4 and php5 as an option. Myriad Networks, please talk with other hosting providers to determine if this is possible.
Thanks!
Hi,
It's possible in the setup that layer0 mentioned. However, we don't support that type of setup.

I have been debating on leaving your services because you do not have a PHP5 server. I have researched and found some resellers giving php4 and php5 on 1 server. I have also found some having separate servers 1 with php4 and 1 with php5 configured to allow, on setup of new account defining the location. Is this a possibility in the near future? If so, how soon?

Our newest shared server will have PHP 5; though we're not sure when it will be live. We hope to have it racked up soon at the datacenter, though there is no guarantee when it will be good to go.
If you're interested, likely, the best idea would be to open a ticket with our support department, and we could keep you updated.
