Hi,

Again sorry for the short notice, but in an effort to keep things stable on the server, we will be installing a new kernel shortly, which will require a reboot.

The first short reboot from a few minutes ago was due to a filesystem bug in the kernel, which occured when removing some files. Installing the new kernel which will be done soon should resolve this issue and prevent the issue from occuring again. This thread will be updated as necessary. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thanks for your patience while we make every effort to ensure things remain stable and fully operational. Thanks.

web9 has been rebooted and is now online and pinging again, which means the other services will be restored shortly.

Once more web9 is being rebooted. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working on the issue which was believed to have been resolved with the install of a newer kernel earlier. Will update as necessary.

web9 is currently undergoing an fsck (File System Check). Since the emergency install of the newer kernel earlier did not resolve the issue from this morning, the server needs to be offline while a file system check is being run. There is no ETA on how long it will take, as the entire file system must be checked for errors. We will update as necessary.

The file system check is done and the server is up and pinging at this time. Services should be restored shortly. We will continue to monitor.
